Good books to prepare you for the rigors of forex trading.

I place 'Randomness' right at the top of my trading book list. If you read this, understand it and you blow your trading account up you deserve it.
Fooled by Randomness

Because forex trading is so much more than trading the forex market, this book is for every forex trader aspiring to a long and successful time trading the forex market.
Reminiscences of a Stock Operator

To a certain extent I place this book next to Fooled by Randomness. I think it teaches one a lot about the market we are participating in and how to approach trading. Will make more sense as you gain more experience on my mentoring programme.
Inside the House of Money

This book is about Long term Capital Management, the hedgefund that almost caused a financial market meltdown. In LTCM's time there were about 800 hedgefunds. Today there are 8,000 - 10,000. You will gain a new understanding of lion country by reading it.
When Genious Failed

This is the book I knew I had to write unless someone else comes around and do it on my behalf. Not only is it a comprehensive description of the real life driving forces behind currency price moves, but it also answers many of those questions confronting anyone who begins to notice the relationships between different markets. Released in 2009 it is up to date to May 2008. As such it doesn't cover the extremes of late 2008 but you will even better understand that and be prepared for where we are going.
Currency Trading and Intermarket Analysis.

Amongst others the currency market is a hub that links capital flows between global financial markets. For those who would like an on-the-dot sharp introduction to the different markets this is a great book.
Guide to Financial Markets. Fourth Edition.

This book covers the 2007 - 2008 financial market meltdown. The original title that I read was "The Trillion Dollar Meltdown". This link is to the updated two trillion version. We are still in throws of that event and any big picture view is dominated by extraordinary happenings and price moves in the recent past and potential future corrections or extensions maybe. There are several other books on this topic also but my suggestion because I have read this one which was one of the first is that you read it if you haven't read anything on this topic yet.
